^ Congrats......The Dutch players however can feel very proud of their performances so far. Gave a real scare to (their cousins) SA the other day and lost narrowly today

Re: March 8 - Warm up matches

whats going on here .... here is what cricinfo says:

Netherlands RR 7.28
Required RR 1.33
Kenya RR 5.48

Netherlands require another 20 runs with 4 wickets and 15.0 overs remaining

End of match

Re: March 8 - Warm up matches

^ No cricinfo is saying Kenya won by 9 runs.

Re: March 8 - Warm up matches

That was Ireland who gave scare to SA not Holland

World Cup warm-up, Jamaica: Kenya 274-8 beat Netherlands 265-9 by nine runs
Match scorecard
A terrific performance by the Netherlands top order was ruined by a catastrophic collapse as Kenya beat then by nine runs in Jamaica.

Chasing a tricky 275 to win, the Dutch were indebted to openers Darron Reekers (75) and Bas Zuiderent (65) before Ryan Ten Doeschate added a quick 50.

That left them apparently cruising to victory but the off-spin of Steve Tikolo (5-48) transformed the match.

The Netherlands ended up an agonising 10 runs short of victory on 265-9.

Experienced skipper Tikolo had earlier hit an important 51 for the Africans.

A total of 274-8, in which Thomas Odoyo produced a smash-and-grab 73 from number seven, looked good, especially considering the top three had all fallen cheaply.

But the Dutch had other ideas and should really have been able to secure a confidence-boosting victory.

However, the last six batsmen all fell in a heap and Kenya, semi-finalists four years ago, enter the tournament proper with a win under their belts.
