I agree. participant should be fluent in expressing ideas and should not be bothered about word count

I think participants should be allowed to write as many paras as they want and break the parts to make it easy for others to read.

Disagree with #1. I think there should be a limit on the word count, so people don’t get carried away. I don’t want to have to read long essays. Also, if this is a legitimate competition, same rules should apply to everyone. People should be able to summarize their thoughts. Keep what’s important and effective; remove redundant words/sentences.

Agree about removing the paragraph restriction, as long as the word count is still within the limit.
