I don't know, but Maldives President does not make any sense to me, the G8 would and are spending billions in developing arms for killing Humans all over the world, why would they be bothered if a country of few thousand would sink and die... they have no interest in Maldives... so what makes him feel that the rich countries would give a damn about what he says.. not limited to G8 countries, why should UNO offer any assistance... this country is of no interest to any of its super-member...
