This attack once again gives us a clear look at these terrorists sick mentality. It is evident that they will cross all lines just to spread fear and chaos. This attack has been condemned by everyone who stands for humanity. President Barack Obama labeled it “reprehensible, disgusting and tragic.”
Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, said in a statement:
“This is not the first time they have targeted children, the attack on Parade Lane, Rawalpindi, is a painful reminder of their bloodlust. They have no respect even for the golden words of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that ‘the one who is not kind to children, is not amongst us’. Such inhuman acts clearly expose the extremist mindset the nation is facing. We wish to bring home a simple message: We Refuse to Bow before Terror. We Will Fight, Regardless Of the Cost, We Will Prevail Insha’Allah.”
We encourage everyone to stand united against these terrorists. We will continue to work side by side, and remain confident of defeating these terrorists through mutual cooperation.
