Oh really? wow, I'll try that..thanks :)
The basic trick is to spray on your skin, not on your clothes. Second trick is to spray/dab it on places that dont sweat much

according to Glamour magazine, theres no point in keeping bottles of perfume for long periods of time because the scent changes over time and it evaporates anyway.

But how would it evaporate when its sealed inside a bottle? theres nowhere to evaporate. These magazines are just advertising joints for the calvin kleins and elizabeth taylors of the glamor world. They just want you to keep buying, hence such advice:)
Actually, I read somewhere that all these brand names like Polo, KK etc that you can buy from Ames or K-mart typa stores is the stock that cleared off the shelves from the mainstream departmental stores or distributors etc because over a certain period of time, perfumes/cologns lose their potency. That's why you can get them at discounted prices at such places.

dont ... it will go safaid.
Had a friend in school who used to do that...and by the time he was graduating High School his whole sir was Chitta..
Irem, if you are wearing perfume in Karachi, then I honestly don't think that anything you do will make the perfume stay on you given the level of pollution/odours in the air. You may have to use something extremely strong like It'r as Humsa suggested. :p
You may want to try scented body lotions instead. Again, given the humidity and pollution in the air, this may not work.
Use oils...irem
Oudhs, or any other attars. they stick to you for days.

Perfumes dont expire.
wat about if u buy a perfume that has a matching body spray/talcum powder and face cream. Shouldn't it last longer then? I think avon do a few fragrances with other matching toiletries?
