Re: Making friends of non-Muslim and non-Pakistani background
I think lifestyle does limit the types of friends people have.... like if all your freind drink and date and you dont' it'll be hard to socialize with them etc. But that'd be the same with other muslims whose life style is different.....
Re: Making friends of non-Muslim and non-Pakistani background
I dont think people care that much anymore, the new generation moves around more freely when it comes to such issues. However I recall it being weird around 9 years back, I had just moved to aussy and I was sitting getting along well with a group of teenagers and this guy came drunk out of his mins greeting all his friends and then he sat next to me, shook my hand and started talking and as soon as he learned I'm a muslim he jumped up and started apologizing for shaking my hand and that he doesnt want me going to hell because I'm not married to him and he touched me and that he's drunk and all that .. the guy kept going on and on and I had to calm him down tell him I'm not gonna go to hell because of you shaking my hand! Funnnny storryyy!!!
