Making arrangements for those we leave behind

Same sequence here; It's Mr Maroush, or if we both go, then it's my mum, else it's my sister.

Your shoes will have to be donated to children....no fully grown adult will be able to squeeze their feet into your Lilliputian footwear. :D

I had to do a similar thing my previous job. Was pretty depressing, but it's gotta be done.

Yeh, you're right, I shall just have to give them back to the elves that make them for me.

I do feel for the clowns that inherit your shoes. :(

Re: Making arrangements for those we leave behind

I have made my parents beneficiary of 30% and my family (wife and kids) the beneficiary of 70% in my group insurance (at work). Fact that my parents live in Pakistan and that my coverage is around half million $, will give my parents enough in PKR to survive if God forbids any such condition arises

As for current assets goes, everything goes to my wife and kids.

Re: Making arrangements for those we leave behind

Nikki I know:hinna: but I have to do it for work reasons and therefore may as well make other arrangements too.

I am deciding on percentages for the death benefit, retirement lump sum and pension scheme.

I am not having difficult on how to split it between parents and siblings.

I know it is nothing to get tensed up about, but at 22 years of age and all, make such conscious decisions is quite daunting and upsetting.

I do want to get it all done regardless. Moneywise I know who I want all my savings and financial assets to go to but then I have personal items which I want to share with people I care about. Will have to contact our family lawyers for that.

It is also good to see people are making the relevant arrangements.
