The sephora blockbuster kit has really bad reviews at makeupalley. Too bad because i was kinda excited about it.

I was just about to say if you are going to get any kit it should be the Sephora Blockbuster kit, good quality. Even that has way too much makeup tho.

How are the makeup kits that they sell at Macy's (the off-brand ones)? I am helping to assemble a barri and was wondering if a couple of those would be alright to include.
MAcys sell Estee lauder make-up kit or Elizebeth Arden's make up kitt.And they usually come around christmas season.

My roommate used to work at sephora so she has it. I like the pigment of the shadows but I don't usually do much color on my eyes so I'm not going to get it.
The one thing she didn't like about it is the brushes it comes with. But the amount of shadows, lip color and blush you are getting should make up for that.

I think kits are a waste :( they have so many useless colours that don't even get used.

yeah true...if u dont put eyeshadows on every day for every diff dress than buyin a kit is not really worth it..its cheaper..but in the long run u'll have many colors that u wont even touch..

u can get tons of no-name makeup kits from Rite aid/cvs/walgreens/eckerds...and there are sooooooo many more available in pakistan.. but i duno abt UK
They r not really super expensive..if u look around for sales and specials u can find them at a reasonable price..and makeup is sumthing thts worth the price..but it depends what u prefer to put on ur skin

i would get a good kit..as opposed to a big one...think of the appropriate complexion and then customize a kit....its more personal..i think.

u can go to mac and get those made up kits u just have to tell them what colours u want and the'll make it infront of u this way it'll be much cheaper then gettin them individually even i got one from there of four different eyeshades of my own choise
