I was gonna post the following pic as a challenge and ask everyone to attempt it but seeing your’s and other people’s work on this thread, I’m like “what the hell was I thinking? Anyone can do this look!” You guys are so freakin talented, this look is like nothing compared to what u have already done!

I’m not as good as CE, Yanzala, KP and Marwa but here’s my try :

:k: good one sidra! How did u make that presentation thing? Coz I think I’ll start doing that from now on… to put my name on the picture so that everyone knows its mine! I got accused of posting a fake pic on my very first makeup look 
Anyways, i did a VERY simplified version of the naqaab look on my sister:
I know its way different than the actual look, I’ll have a go at the original look asap, but this one is just a very simple version of the original look..

i’m not doing ANY makeup challenges until we get more people participating 
especially you mods, if you pick a look, do it yourself also! it’s not fun if there’s only 1 or 2 people doing it.

I actually agree, more ladies should participate, PROVIDED that no one will make fun of them… I’m sure there’s alot of girls who would love to participate but are only shy coz may be they are beginners…
And marwah yar, I’m kinda at the intermediate level but with people like u and CE on this, even I should be scared to post something!! You guys have like taken it to a whole new level! So I blame you 
On a serious note: I would have loooved to do this look (even though its a tough one yar MKD post something easier!) but I don’t have the proper products for the barbie look so …
I am going to do a makeup look on me tomorrow and I’ll post the pics here or on another thread in Beauty.

Any tips on how I can get all that glitter off her lashes afterwards? May be if I keep a tissue on her eyelashes while applying the eyeshadow/glitter?... I tried putting mascara over it but the glitter still stays on obviously..
u could try using an ear bud with some eye makeup remover, and just clean over the lashes once u've finished with the eye shadow/glitter
I use mixing medium (by Mac) to apply my glitter. all u have to do is apply a bit of the mixing medium on to a flat brush then dip it into the glitter. It can also be used straight on to the lid, what ever way suits u. this will create less mess and prevent the glitter from falling (mind u this is a pro product and can only be brought from a Mac pro store).
If u was applying glitter on dark eye shadow then u could use mascara as a base for ur glitter. Just dab a bit of mascara onto the lid area where u want the glitter to be then just apply the glitter straight on top
hope it helps. on a separate note tho I love glittery eye lashes so long as the lids r plain and the emphasis r on the lashes
