Re: Make-up tips for starters?
If you have acne prone skin and sensitive, do not pile on a ton of makeup. It will make it worse.
Start out small...with a good powder foundation that offers decent coverage to hide small flaws without making you look too made up.
I cannot stand foundation and concealor so I recently started using Christian Dior's Skinflash. This is an illuminator so it doesnt go on heavy at all...very light and simply brightens your complexion which is what I love about it. It was a recommendation from one of our GS girls and a great one at that! I would never have found it by myself because there is SO much product out there. All thanks go to stoppit!!
Make sure you follow and maintain a good skin care regimen so your skin gets to breathe. This is important for you if you want to continue to wear makeup.
Buy a good mascara - I use Loreal Voluminous and/or Lancome Definicils
Lip gloss - a soft color - maybe a pinkish one
Blush is good BUT please be careful with it! All too often people make what I call a racing stripe across their face and its so bad looking! Blush is meant to make you glow - not radiate! LOL.
