If you can, I'd get to a MAC pro store and get a 4-pan palette and 4 pan shadows to go in it. Get 2 though :p
It's very reasonable cost wise and the shadows are great. MAC have such a great selection that you can pick out 4 easily that work together. Two base colours, one highlighter and something for the crease that complements both base colours.
My fav everyday neutral custom made pan contains; Satin Taupe, Summer Neutral, Phloof and Brun.
