There should have been machar in that too, when I went there the last time...Machar nay bera gharak kar diya mera...

Anyways, I have heard Gillani nay kaafi kaam karaya hay wahan pay, lots of underpasses and flyovers there now.

I also heard that Gilani started many projects there. I’ve been to Multan twice. Once our flight from DG Khan to Karachi was via Multan. At that time, we went to a market and buy a kaRhai wali shaal for my sister. I heard that they buy such embroidery work at very cheap costs from nearby areas and sell that at very expensive prices ( 10-20 times what they pay to poor women) :frowning:

Next time, during an assignment, we spent 3-4 days in Multan, but in December I got severe cold. We went to Rahim Yar Khan then, but had to leave soon for Karachi due to severe weather

:omg: That Sohan halwa market, where every shop has a board ’ Naqalon se hushiyar, hum hi asli sohan halwa banate hain’. We also got Anwar Ratol (Mangoes) from Multan, when we visit in July

The clothes from Multan are quite colorful and nice too…

as far as the machars are concerned, I am again getting the shivers…I have not seen those kind of bullies anywhere, I am sure even Lahore Dengue Mosquito is less lethal than them. :frowning: I was there to take viva from the kids of NFC IET university there, the accommodation was arranged by the university, there were two rooms one with AC and the other without, I chose the one without AC as the weather was fine, but as soon as I closed the light… :(:smack:
