This has got to be the most childish and over-acted comedy I have ever seen… but then again, I haven’t seen a good Pakistani comedy drama in ages… whatever happened to characters like MamooN and Timmy of Ankahi, Kabacha of TanhayyiaN etc.
If you wanna watch comedy… these are the ever-greens:

I think “Main Aur Tum” is quite funny. For today’s standards of course. So comparing it with classics like 50/50, etc. is like comparing apples with bananas.

fais' qureshi zindabad, whata funny bloke, he has improved so much over the last 4 years, really grown in stature. + has a kid on the way, all the best to him

I fully agree with you. Classical comedies have sadly become extinct. Hence, there is no use comparing present-day comedy with the past or lamenting over it.
I find ‘Mai aur tum’ a great comedy according to present-day standards.
I’m sort of also getting bored of ‘Loose Talk’. Although it still airs some great episodes, but it is somewhat becoming boring.

good concept, bad execution, but a step in the right direction. lets have more sitcoms directed towards younger audience, and not those typical jamshed ansari and behroz sabzwari hasnat bhai and qabaccha comedies that most of us cant really relate to.
10 points for concept, desi version if perfect strangers i guess.
4 for execution.

Last episode seems to drive this more on the model of Alif-Noon, with one very dominant room-mate and the other totally apologetic. I would have preferred if it went more like Seinfeld where all characters create situational comedy. Anyway, lets see how it goes from here.

^ the scenes from sumehray din qwhen they are playing pranks on one another and the rtaggra they get from seniors is not considered drama or action in my view, sunehray din was not only comedy but had a very good comedy element to it.
as far as comedy in pakistani dramas go, for some odd reason andehra ujalas misfits are high on my list
o ziyadah baan baan karnay ki zaroorat naheen hai bachoo, warna drawing room lay ja kar solah or satarah number kay litar say jab litrol ho gi na, tohjo kiyahai woh bhi qabool kar lo gaye aur jo naheen kiya hai woh bhi..
and
mein mazaaq naheen hoon..deh jamaat paaas direct havaldaar hoon

Then what else is it? Everytime I watch it, its a fun experience…
- The whole supposed and the real Faraz affair,
- The altercations between the two motoos…
- The initiation and perpetual raggings at PMA… “aa geya hai kyuuN kakool, mere jaisa bloody fool”
- Helmet me khaana
- etc.
IMO, the drama was primarily a comedy but also had an informational element to it and brought forth the PMA / Army culture… the torch was however brilliantly carried over by its sequel - Alpha Bravo Charlie which is in a genre of its own.

I think the show is getting better from when I first started watching it too. I thought Aijazz Aslam was a really bad choice initially, but he's getting better at it.

^ He is man haha!! He was sitting w/ the dog named Julie at the end and singing “na kuch tere buss mein Julie na kuch teray buss mein…oye Julie why is my hand wet?” gosh I was cracking up thru out!
Faisal asked ZQ what she does in her spare time and she said she hangs out with her friend Julie and Faisal goes “aap apni dost ke saath bahar latakti hain?” lol!
