There are 2 types of Qismat. Qismat-e-Mubbaram and Qismat-e-Mualliq.
Qismat-e-Mubbaram is a fixed qismat. Jo likhi ja chuki hai, aur badal nahi sakti.
Qismat-e-Mualliq: It gives us a free hand in decisions like Study, marriage, divorce, job, business, etc. We control our Qismat-e-mualliq with our decisions. We can ask for Allah’s will by doing istakhara before making any decisions in these specific matters of life.
Istikhara ka matlab uski raza aur sahi faisla, jo insan ki samajh mein shayed na a sakta. Phir har faislay ka anjam bhi theek hoga. (aur mehnat ka phal bhi mily ga)
The answer to your question is…Zaroor qismat count hoti hai…lekin us qismat ke peechy hamara faisla hota hai, because Qismat-e-mualliq depends on our decisions.
