well lord of the rings was not supposed to be real and was a fantasy as well, but now that is a good movie..
maid in manhattan.. joins a horde of other lame chick flicks and is destined to be overplayed on lifetime channel in a few years.

You are right … Lord of the Ring is a fantasy. However, you cannot compare Maid in Manhattan with Lord of the Ring. Maid in Manhattan is a sweet, fairy-tale, Cinderella kinda movie whereas Lord of the Ring was this massive, action-packed mega-epic which appeals to pretty much everyone.
