DEFINATELY Kryolan TV stick - it's made especially for camera/TV and photographs beautifully while still looking natural (depending on the application technique, of course)

Not hating on MAC but it's not the best brand esp for foundations (most have SPF in them = can make skin oily + bad for photographs)

Dafodil - the pics you posted are heavily retouched. To be very honest, any drugstore NON-pro foundation/powder can look this good in pictures after that much post prodcution

ladies, do you know where one can buy the paint stick, in the US. i want to be able to try different shades.

Kryolan is very heavy, it's ideal for weddings and when there's lots of light...not suitable for everyday makeup though. You also will need more than once stick to achieve an 'exact' match.

So basically I should use Kryolan TV Stick Over Mac?
Is there a particular way of applying it?
So I know they are doing it right...

i would layer it on as needed with a damp sponge just to avoid any caking.. i think most makeup artists just apply it on heavily and then buff it out with a sponge or brush? not sure. good luck though, tell us how it goes!

I bought the tv stick for fun on ebay. I use it with a LIGHT hand as a concealer under the eyes..and it works OK.

I dont see what the hype is about. I wouldnt dare cake it on though..theres something very clownish about it..

what would an ideal shade be if ur a mac nc 30?

Well, I could order it online. But I don't know what shade -- was hoping to find a place to try it. Or I guess I will just think about it when we go at the end of the year, inshALlah. Just thought it would be a nice tool to have :D

I use Kryolan and Bobbi Brown both on brides, I have yet to come across a bride or model that used only 1 shade of Kryolan or was a perfect match and didn't require another light/dark shade, Bobbi brown has 'inbetween' shades that work for example. 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5.

I really want to try the kryolan paint stick out too but don’t know where it’s sold in the UK
I could purchase it online but have no idea about which shade to buy..
I’m an NC37, if anyone can help me with which shade i need…please let me know

i guess i'm the anomaly ;)
my MUA gets her sticks from Pakistan because she says they sell a wider range of shades suitable for desi complexions there.
