i m going to order some mac lipstick online. can u guys suggest me what would look good on desi skin tone. especially red. whats your fav.
I have a few reds from mac they are: Ruby woo a must for desi skin Chilli its redy orange And russian red
I love chili!!! i just picked it up yesterday, but on me it's not really red at all...it's a gorgeous burnt orange type color. (for reference, i'm a nc-37 with olive undertones)
Russian red is my go to red color

For nudes, these MAC shades work really well for me: Siss, Freckeltone or Fresh Brew...I top the first two with lipglass in Madcap for the perfect nude lip!!!!

^Ravishing might be a tad too light. I'm an NC 30-35, and I liked how it looked but in pictures I looked washed out, it looked like a peachy nude. Try Vegas Volt, it'll look nicer, you can top it with a nude gloss to tone the brightness if you'd like.

I swear by Saint Germain and love Please Me and Snob as well.
I bought Girl about Town and sadly didnt like it, same with Candy Yum Yum. But when mixed with Saint Germain the Girl about Town is beautiful...
Any ideas what i can mix with candy yum yum to tone it down a bit?

same, can't you get to a MAC counter to test them? I doubt taupe will be suitable since it is a matte lipstick. Selena is wearing a frost finish lipstick. MAC Plastique might work.. or on top of a darker lipstick. To be honest, it reminds me of a drugstore brand lipstick... try L'oreal Sandstone.

Lol.. well in my experience lipsticks look really different on different people so it’s worth testing first.
I don’t know if you have Boots No.7 brand there but I think it might be similar to 25 highland mist:
