The first episode was pretty good. Who is the guy shown in the titles wearing a cap and sunglasses? Is it Adnan? Yeah, they should not spoil it for us by showing future clips in promos, and whats with Saba hugging Adnan while on the bed? All for the sake of depicting reality????
I'm watching this drama because I like Umera Ahmed's plays. Its good, Amina shaikh's role reminds me of her role in Umme Kalsoom. It's very similar to that. One thing that really gets me, why do pakistani parents just decide on who their sons or daughters should marry without consulting them?? I mean, why did Adnan's mum assume he will just marry the older sister. You would think any intelligent mother would simply ask her son instead of raising the hopes of Amina and the mother....Maybe the mothers of sons lose their intelligence when their sons reach a marriageable age......:D
^^ haha Moms think they have full rights over their kids since they have raised them so just like most parents decide which profession their kids should go into, moms decide which girl their son or which guy their daughter should marry.
I think in this drama's case, since the son agreed to "khala ke ghar mein shaadi", the mom assumed it was for the elder daughter since they are closer in age.
I think you’re talking about Maat right? I didn’t watch Reza Reza but know the basic storyline. Yes, the characters are quite similar and unfortunately these characters are SO common in our society. I recently heard of someone who married a guy in Canada because of $$ and they are 15 years apart. And she previously had boyfriends who she would totally feed off of. After they became totally “kangaal” she would leave them. Saba’s character is a better version of this girl lol
OMG I thought im posint on the maat's thread but accidently posted here thanks for noticing bibi!!it happens when you have so much to talk about these dramas lol
BDW omg does that really happen these days? i can never think girls can go that low for money..i hope she would watch maat or mere khuwab reza reza and learn something from it!

But Adnan's Mom assumed that her padha likha laiq beta know the tradition 'pehle badi beti ki shadi hoti hai, uske bad chhoti ki bari aati hai'. Adnan should have been specific to her Mom on the matter, if he was really after that Chor ladki.
I hate these stupid promos!! they reveal the entire story.based on what I've seen, it appears Saba will have casual relationships with multiple guys. would be interesting to see how they introduce that into the plot.

OMG i agree. I hate how i can understand the entire story by just watching the promo!
I enjoyed the 2nd episode. The scenes between the son and mother were directed well. None of that melodrama and the acting was natural. Do girls really ride on the back of motorbikes all decked up like that still in Pakistan? Looks very dangerous to me...
^ dangerous not just for the decked up girl, but for all the other drivers eyeing her up ;) very good episode that was. From promos it looks like Adnan and Amina are going to get together?

They will marry after Adnan divorces his first wife Suman (Saba)
