wow. some of these nominations/winners seem to be really out there. the ogrganizers must be trying to stage the Pakistani version of the Razzies here? no wonder nobody takes these awards seriously. how many times has Amina Haq won this award despite the fact that she is one of the worst actresses of current times?
how any drama can win the best drama award apart from Umrao Jaan Ada is beyond me. And also how did Faisal Qureshi earn a nomination for UJA and Amina Bano didn't? boggles the mind given that she was the life of the whole play. if Amna didn't win it, Bushra should've won it. but Amna Haq of all actresses??
the movie wallahs aren't even worth discussing. only worthy winner in there, imo, is Shoaib Mansoor for Anarkali.
She looks a lot like Amna Haq with the bangs and the highlighted hair

Those are some screwed up Nominations!!! Where the heck is Umrao Jaan for best play (??? wth!) and Amna Bano for Best actress over Amna expressionless Haq any day!!!

Boggles my mind completely!!! Gosh these should be called Inane Awards!!! I think the judges took it literally and ate Lux soap before judging.
Talat Hussein should have got the award for the best film actor, he really had a BIG screen presence in Laaj and acted marvellously. But the real shocker is that Shaan got the award for 'Commando', an out and out action flick, which had NO scope for acting. Gee, these awards sure are mesed up.
