If that’s the case I’d really advise you screw everything and just go with PIA.
Fly to JFK, then get onboard PIA for non-stop to KHI. Couldn’t be any simpler (given they implement non-stop in the next few months).
Even if you go with Emirates, you’ll need to fly to JFK, then JFK-DXB, then DXB-KHI. It’ll be a pain in the ass. Same # of stops for Lufthansa (maybe even 1 extra) but it’ll be an even longer flight NA->EU->(sometimes ME)->PK.
