There was this ghazal of bashir badr , which has been tagged as Hamd / Naat by some quarters... (Khuda hum ko aisi khudai na de)... It contain a line:

mujhe apni chadar main yun thaam lo
zameen aasman kuch dikhai na de

How do you see these lines?

app itne mushkil sawal kyun pochte hain? agar waqai hamd hai tu phir I wouldnt take any wrong meaning out of it. it just means, meri soch main sirf Allah ho aur uske siwa kuch dikhaai na de.

right.. but if this line is alone came before you without the background that its from a ghazal, which has been termed as Hamd... then would you consider it in luchi category.

luche gaanon per tabsra… wo kehte hain na jo log Sadar Karachi main rehte hain wo unintentionally roz ik cigrette ka dibba peete hain.. like that we all listen luche gaane, whether we want or not… This is for those songs, which we heard (not listened) :wink:
