LSA=LUX STYLE AWARDS. This year it was held at GENTING HIGHLANDS some 30 Km from Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia. It’s as cool as Murree and has enormous tourist attractions including casino and one of the longest cable car ride of 6.8 kilometres. There are scores of hotels, bars, discos and restaurants. It’s primarily a tourist resort with drive exactly like that from Islamabad to Bhurbun or Murree.
This year’s LSA (on 21 July) was sort of boring yet some flare–as Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqi told me…and so did Saadia Imam. Humayun lost the battle to Nauman Ejaz to win the LSA for 4th consecutive time for acting category.
LSA has a Board of Governors under UNILever Pakistan. The main persons here in the organising comittee are; Farishteh Aslam w/o of GEO’s President Imran Aslam & Fareiha Altaf.
LSA will not work out without them! Its just like that “SUNDAY TIMES” of Saily Times wont be published if HSY (Hasan Shehryar Yasin’s) picture is not there with some female (no males allowed photography with him).
