Loving The Messenger

Yes, terrible tafsir. Yet, they are upheld MORE than GOD’s word (Quran). Doesn’t that strike anybody here as odd? The words of men (Bukhari) upheld OVER the word of GOD (Quran)? That doesn’t seems strange to anybody??

Well, you will never find in the Quran anything about loving messengers more than GOD. In fact, setting messengers as idols is strongly condemned. The christians do it, and now, so are the muslims. It is no wonder that GOD commands in the Quran NOT to make distinctions among any of GOD’s messengers (eg: one messenger is better than another) as they are all GOD’s humble servants. All the messengers lived for, and loved GOD the most…So, if you want to follow the Prophet, then love GOD the most, and follow what GOD you and the prophet, the Quran.

SO SO SO very true… That’s my ENTIRE problem with people who want to love their prophets more than GOd itself. What’s the point of you worshipping God when you have made the prophet your God? You don’t know who or what GOD is so it’s likely to have love for someone/something you understand - which is this case is the prophet.
