Loving Sahabah (Companions) IS A MUST.. Without exaggerating..!

Some companions raised their voices above the holy prophet (pbuh). The holy qur'an tells us this:

"O you who believe! Do not raise your voices above the voice of
prophet ... lest your deeds become null while you do not perceive."
(Quran 49:2).

Who were these people who committed this crime ? This is what we should find out. If you feel that Abu Baker, Umar, and Usman were not part of these people, so be it.

But before you form your conclusions, just ask yourself whether you have done sufficient research to verify yr beliefs.

If you feel you have, that should be good enough.

Most important of all, we are all muslims. Allah (swt) is the Best of judges.

One interesting hadith in Sahih Bukhari goes:

Sahih al-Bukhari Hadith: 8.586 Narrated Ibn al-Musaiyab:

"Some men from my companions will come to my Lake-Fount and they will
be driven away from it, and I will say, 'O Lord, my companions!' It
will be said, 'You have no knowledge of what they innovated after you
left: they turned APOSTATE as renegades (reverted from true Islam)."
(also Sahih Muslim, part 10, p64, also P59)

Please verify these hadiths for yrselves.

Guys, I think that it call comes down to what your defination of SAHABA is.

You have got to love each and every sahaba more then your own parents if you go by the following defination:

"Sahaba is anyone who loved prophet and his family".

That is all i have to say.

Quran says: Say:** "I do not ask of you a wage for this, except love for (my) relatives. (ash-Shura, 42:23) **

Here there is a need to ask why the rest of the prophets looked for no wage but the most noble Prophet asked for one for his message; why did he want friendship for his near relatives as a requital for his message?

The Qur'an itself provides an answer to this question:
say: *"I have asked no wage of you; that shall be yours. My wage falls only upon Allah"(Saba', 34:47) *

Therefore, you can see that this AJJAR was requested not only by prophet by Allah himself demanded it. ANyone who fails to fulfil the command can not be counted as a sahabi.

which Quranic ayat tells us that we will have 12 imams till the day of judgement?

which Qurani ayat tells us about characteristics of these imams?

what is the status of these imams comparable to Nabi, Rasool ?

who was first imam?

how do you know who is imam? self declared, people elected/selected? thru exams?

which books of ahadith are authentic in Shia fiqh and Sunni fiqh? which are common to both?

how to judge/know the authenticity of a book?

We oughta be Changez like, don't we?

Dear Brothers....
This thread is onlr for those who love all Sehabas without diffrentiating between one and another.......if you could digest it thats fine other wise start another thread for your comments......
And why are you collecting the fire of hell by disrespcting some Sahabas.....and those Sahabas who are thousands of times better than our fathers mothers brothers sisters and wole families.......
A shoe which Hadrat Abu Bakr(Radi Allah an hu) worn....a dress Hadrat Umar(Radi Allah an hu) wouldn't change before its torn..... blood of Hadrat Usman(Radi Allah an hu) which coloured the floor of Masjid-e-Nabvi.....and the bed where Hadrat Ali(Radi Allah an hu) slept inplace of Prophet(Sall Allah hu alaihe Wasallam)
even if I sacrifice my life...my family...and whatever wealth I have got, I can't even be equal to the things mentioned above, and we are talking about these big personalities themselves......
BAA ADAB BAA MURAAD.....BAY ADAB BAY MURAD

I think it all comes down to perspective.

But think on this

"can every man who was with the prophet be called a sahaba?"

and why did the word munafiq come into being is all were perfect sahaba?

Please don't start sectism again.....just read....you asked
"can every man who was with the prophet be called a sahaba?"
No not everyone.....whoever seen Prophet(Sall Allah ho Alaiha Wasallam) with Aemaan, only he can be called...you asked...
"why did the word munafiq come into being is all were perfect sahaba?"
Munafaq word was used for those who had read Kalimah but wouldn't fulfil compulsory requirements of Islam....
The most first sign, told by Quran and Hadit of Munafiq is that they wouldn't read five times a day....and then a long list of different things.....if you read life story of those Sahabas whom you call Munafiq....you wouldn't even find a single sign of those which were told by Quranand Hadit......look at ourselves we....forget other things... just take Nimaz..most of us only go to the mosque to read Eid in a whole year....our parents, brothers sisters don't read at all but we still love them never hate them as being Munafiq....but are very keen to call great great Sahabas Munafiqs(Nahuzubillah) ok if they did one thing which makes them Munafiq(Nahuzubillah) then we do other things which also make us Munafiqs...no difference.....very strange if a thief makes noise about other theif

Surely as you all have stated, loving and giving the utmost respect for the ashab of out great prophet (pbuh) is necessary. They dedicated their lives for Islam and the prophet of islam. We owe them our lives and all our good actions, for if it was not for them, we would not be on the true path.

Firstly, abusing a muslim is haram and a gunah e kabira, and the one who calls a muslim kafir, has accepted kufr for him/herself. So lets not call each other such things.

I have a few questions? some might seem odd but please answer them!

a) Does a person who curses an ashab of the prophet become kafir?
b)As said by someone earlier 'Cursing ALL sahabah is kufur according to Islam and cursing some is a sin. knowing that not ALL sahabah are the Awlia' of Allah.' Can they elaborate and tell me the names of the sahabah, who if cursed causes a person to be a kafir.
c) Is killing ashab kufr?
d) What is the topic of surah munafiqoon?(after surah jum'a)
