This is a pretty old Nilofer Shahid design–she made something like this in 1995 (I should know, I had it copied for my engagement:halo: ) I remember the organza churidar sleeves, oh the memories. I think it could be worn easily for a valima, even a wedding, if the bride is partial to churidars. (My cousin worn a churidar for her wedding, and a lehnga for the valima).

^Yah the one in the photo is much longer and more flowy. Mine was "modernized" by my MIL -- she was afraid the frock-like one would be less popular.

One of my cousin's wives wore a proper peshwaaz for her valima. Gorgeous.

Maybe it;s just me but I don't like the dress on this perticular model. She's too thin :-/

$$$ doesn't equal instantly classy or nice.
Doesn't matter whose name is on the design and how much it cost, if it's ugly, its ugly.
