I think I was asked to wait that long because I had become pregnant right after I delivered my first baby. I had hardly recovered then and here I was pregnant again...but miscarried after 3 months. They had to perform a D&C. Maybe that's why?
I had my second daughter 3 years later. Alhamdulilah. A very smooth pregnancy.
