Re: Looking for a good parlor with a reasonable price tag
I got my Engagement Makeup done from Najla's and its was a very good experience and result both. I wore purple, pink kinda pichwas and i wanted smokey eyes with nude lips and she did the same very nicely. Staff was good and cooperative too. Also i had my booking at johar branch but on the day of event i had a call from them to ask me come to gulshan branch as makeup artist would be there. But overall i heard johar is the best one.
Can you please tell me how much you got it done for?
Re: Looking for a good parlor with a reasonable price tag
It was in feb 2010, and that time they charged me 5k including whitening facial. Now they have increased the rates to i guess 8k, but still its a value price. My eng was on a big scale and thus my makeup was equivalent to tht of valima bride, infact few people at parlor even asked if she is valima bride :P

Re: Looking for a good parlor with a reasonable price tag
i had my nikkah makeup from jauhar branch. i had light blue shalwaar kameez. n the make up artist (fauzia) did awesome eye makeup n listened to me and took my consent before applying anything. but the main problem was base :s.. thats why m planning to go somewhere else for wedding. other than defence.

yes i mentioned the base. because:
1.it was very cakey and powdery as if there were 4 to 5 layers of bases on my face. very thick.
2.it was sort of yellowish and dry. and i wished to had somewhat glowing and pinkish base(like allenora annies)
3.laugh lines appeared within half an hour after make up.
i had my make up completed at 6pm while my function started at 9.30. tapped my base with a tissue paper n applied a bit of my own avon foundation.
