^dont worry short cut won't go out of style in west as its convinient n waiste length is hard to manage.Long hair look gud if they r silky n straight but with wavy/curly hair length few inches below shoulders is best.easy to style or iron.
That's what I thought too. But guess what? Experts consider short hair to be high maintenance because you have to style it in order for it to look like.....and if you don't, then you'll be confronted with a bad hair day.....especially if your hair (like mine) is too short for a pony tail. The comfort of long hair is being able to put it in a bun, pony tail, when it doesn't look great.
My hair was a few inches longer than my shoulder and permed in loose waves and it looked soooo nice. Next time, I gonna let it grow longer and put it in waves again!
[she is actually my childhood bf...n all the girls in the family has super long hair...but hers are the longest. this pic is a little old, she has cut abt 8inches off.
OMG they lok ugly.its gud she cut them off.If she went to NICK from Wat Not To Wear he might say"wat r these long locks doing for u anyways.u need a style that is super sexy"I wish i can go to him for a hair cut.

Different things are recred in diffrent cultures. Just like the west loves tanned complexions, long hair is still considered beautiful in the east despite more western standards of beauty being applied there. I have hair just above my butt but have got lots of compliments from goras.

i hope not because i worked really hard to get my hair super long and was told genetically not everyone get grow their hair past a certain length. Also it’s a hassle so if that becomes the new trend i’ll soon be cutting it lol.
also my best friend went with extensions for a short while, she had curly hair and they were able to match the color but never able to match the right texture they were 13inches long and cost over $2,000.. also my friend got tracks put in and it was nice because her layers were automatically always curled however her real hair was cut into shorter layers for it and it just looked too emo for my taste but was easier to manage. tracks were around $800 and were 10 inches long. Rarely do you come across a girl with nice extensions and that whole process is super expensive. why bother? i’d rather have a designer bag.
^^ LOVE your hair girl! Thats my goal too ..give me some tips on how to grow them faster...
yay! mine's almost up to the waist too now. its SO damn hard to not be tempted into going into the salon but I have managed to avoid them long enough. Everytime I go in they end up cutting more than I ask for.

This is the answer for the girl who was asking why wear hijab it doesn't have any effect or impact on ppl.
U can get extensions a** lot** cheaper than that. I’m in the UK but even in London which is prob the most expensive place for extensions in the country prices vary from £150 ($215) to around £2000 ($2874) tho that’s v.rare, even Victoria Beckham’s are cheaper than that lol.
The cheaper ones tend to be synthetic ‘monofibre’ hair and the more pricey ones human hair and with the most exclusive salons ur often just paying for the name when they’re usually just using the same brands. They don’t really use the ‘track’ system over here, usually just glued or tied in with a knot individually. I’ve got blonde extensions (my hair is a ‘mousy’ colour naturally) and I get stopped literally everyday by random people in the street complimenting my hair or asking who does it. I only pay £320 for 24" cut to elbow length and they stay in for about 4 months. Also, the hair doesn’t always have to be cut into short layers, if the hairdresser has a lot of expertise he/she can just keep the length and blend the extensions in perfectly, I only ever have mine trimmed when I have them taken out and replaced and that’s just a few millimetres at the very ends so I can let my hair grow long whilst my extensions are in.

curious what kinda hair do you naturally have? my best friend has wavy curly kinda crazy hair and i told her they'd never be able to get the same texture and eventually she took it out bc they couldn't after one wash it was obvious where her real hair ended you know? but it's good to hear yall get better deals on it and what not.
you know i had curly hair and my mom did something as a child to make mine straight, she also did something to her little brother to make his curly. something about hair oils…anyhow i always wanted curly hair it takes hours to do mine and it barely holds..too heavy. same thing goes for backcombing the hair is too heavy to stay poofed up.
