oyster cards are basically like these plastic cards that you can use on different transports to get to places. For children under the age of 16, their oyster card is free...they can just scan it on a bus and get on. Whereas, adults can put money on it to use for trains/buses.
So for trains/tubes you can top up however much you want and just scan it across.
It's pretty cool for under 16s ;-]

Well up North I used to look like I was going to kill them...so I have made huge progress if I only look like im going to tell them to naff off.
