Living on your own does not mean being lonely.
I cant handle loneliness, and I cant handle solitude for long periods of time, although solitude can be a cleansing exercise sometimes.
I lived on my own for a good portion of my life and yeah its tough being away from family but that does not mean u stop living. I think living on my own, making my own decisions, allowed me to to flourish.

Also let me tell you something from my personal life.........
As Isaid above ,I live lonely,I am independent also and I can handle anything independent now.In addition to this,each day I bring in something positive to my life .I know that being alone,one is prone to a derailed life,so I took a strong decision very first itself that
I will never smoke in my life.
Will never get in to any immoral ways of life.
Sprirituality will be given it's importance.
Be 101%sincere in Financial dealings.
Always keep the house clean and tidy.(I can proudly say that whoever comes to my house appreciates me for keeping my house like that,though the credit also goes to my lady servant,but I have the habit of keeping things in order and if I happen to see anything displaced,I become angry somewhat).
Never get in to the personal life of neighbours,but be friendly with them.
Will not invite friends to home that often(burt for partying,I mean drinks,will go out with them)
I drink alot :D
Above all I have taken a decision recently that's I will never give my house for one of my close friends and his girl friend ,even for their little chit-chats.

Since I am single and will remain allthrough my life time like that ,except for my family members and close relatives and my lady servant.....no lady will be allowed inside my house.
some of the above may seem silly,but I have made up my mind and surelyI find them good :)

That is true. You don't have to answer to anyone, you can stay up as late as you want. Cook anything you like, watch anything that you want to watch.
I think we as human beings have the ability to adapt to any envoirment. It's a mental acceptance that we have to learn.
