Heard imrans speech for the first time in the past month, I think he has hit all the right chords there. This jalsa was Asad umar's suggestion which seems to have paid off. Consider this as the start of PTIs election campaign.

I think it was excellent idea to have Javed Miandad stand next to Imran on the stage. I for one have always felt that certain people from Urdu speaking/Karachi community refrained themseves from fully backing Imran because they were fed the toxic propaganda where they believed that Imran the Punjab based player didn't like Miandad the Karachite (even though both players were very good friends). Some sort of ethnic, regional bias and victimisation was often the reason behind some people's reservations with Imran.
Today the iconic and heart warming reunion between Miandad and Imran finally thrashed that myth.
