After the army statement it is clear that PTI and PAT are being backed by Pak. Army. They are putting pressure on the government to negotiate whilst ignoring the activities of PTI and PAT.

Again, who is firing at unarmed protesters? We are already seeing brute force on protesters from the police, army is better off in the sidelines. No need for more chaos.

Army expresses deep concerns over use of force and civilian casualties. Advocates immediate political solution to end the crisis.

Nawaz Sharif congratulates the Punjab police for using brutal force on unarmed protesters. Doesn't condemn the targeted attack on certain media groups, instead authorised further crackdown.

A clear and visible divide between the thinking of Pakistan military and the self proclaimed democratic government with an alleged heavy mandate.

Army is certainly playing smart and winning he hearts.

Mind you, it was a three hours long meeting. I doubt we know even quarter of what was actually discussed and decided.

So what does the statement of the army mean? The umpire has still not raised the finger, so will now imran khan have to settle with something less than sharifs resignation? Or will he continue the quest? Mind you these days imran is looking for the umpires favors instead of the people. If free and fair elections are held today I wouldn't be surprised if PMLN wins them easily.

Basically the Army has warned. Some people are asking isn’t Army sub to PM.Oh please,get real. Army is the de facto authority in Pakistan.
