Do you know the meaning of FIR?
FIR is reporting of crime by those who are victims, as victims see the crime and assume whoever suspects are, and assume the role of suspects. It is basic right of every citizen. Police or court have nothing to do with FIR.
TUQ and his men were victims, so FIR was their basic right, and should be entirely in their words as they see the crime and whoever they see as suspect. Even today, police have not registered FIR the way TUQ and his men sees the crime against them, and included the suspects TUQ and his men see responsible of the crime, in way they see them responsible.

If the Chief of Police, Ferguson is a brother of Obama; then yes, it does cast a bad shadow on the Commander in Chief. Unless the Commander in Chief is quick to disown the heinous actions of provincial police force, and himself takes the lead to bring justice to the effected. But if he fails to, or drags feet, then it does lend to the fact that maybe big brother is protecting little brother's govenment's incompetence.
But yes, you are aright. There should be neutrality; not just a run of emotions.
Hmm I'm sure you know this that if the culprit in Ferguson would be Obama's brother, still nobody would ask obama's resignation for his brother's acts. It doesnt happen this way. As I said there should be a FIR on Punjab govt but thats one province who was responsible for that but not the chief executive.
Now, what has happened today in Islamabad, we can discuss that it was PM's responsiblity since it comes in federal jurisdiction.
Lets say SS resigned. are you seriously suggesting that NS would have allowed an impartial investigation. Look at what have happened today. I voted for in that poll for NS not to resign but the events today has changed my mind. They are goons and they should go. Hold another elections and if the people elect them in a fair elections than they can come back. But only after these murder cases have been resolved.
Ok lets start from first step. If SS resigns, the police starts investigation and if we dont see results than we can start arguing that there's something wrong. And if its proven that PM is overshadowing the investigation and supporting the culprit than we can make the case to ask him to step down. Please let me know if there's anything missin in this
