You mean the "once I upon a time I was a PTI member/supporter but now I spend my entire day and night hating them’ types? Turncoats are fascinating creatures. I can write a whole book on them. Yes, as well as the reason you have stated, some just like to appear ‘different’ or they think it’s fashionable to look like a cynic, and not commit to any particular cause or campaign. Most people might find it quite surprising, but many blacks in the North, did not particularly gravitate towards Martin Luther King for a very long time.
Most reasonable critics genuinely recognise PTI’s shortcomings, but also give them credit where it is due. But vehement opposition is a mindless hating really.
