That’s the issue. The media cameras are not just covering the events, it’s the anchors who are bloody acting like Kingmakers. Criticism is fine, but it’s the blatant side picking, negative campaigning and ritualistic character assassination that’s simply unacceptable. I am sure I won’t have to try very hard to have you in agreement that PTI is simultaneously the most talked about and the most under attacked party. Imran sells papers and his party gets their website the clicks. That’s the part of their appeal.
Besides, PTI and Geo had a very public fall out, how ugly it got in words is no secret. After all the financial loss Geo is suffering because of PTI, how on earth can you call their ‘reporting’ neutral or ever so slightly objective in regards of PTI? Do you think they’re still bothered to paint a remotely positive image of the party which has boycotted their organization and exposed their owner? Their every member of the staff is so blatantly and shamelessly anti PTI that quoting them for PTI is like quoting an IDF member to reveal the ‘truth’ about civilian causalities in Gaza.
I respect my education and value my knowledge, and trust me you would never find me quoting Mubashar Luqman, no matter what. He can turn up on TV with big anti Noon League tattoo on his forehead and draw a live cartoon drawing of Nawaz Sharif and I still won’t copy paste his tweets to prove my point. Unlike many members here, I don’t need to blindly promote propaganda and mudslinging by media anchors as credible information. That’s just pathetic.
