honestly, its disturbing!
it bothers me even when little girls walk around with nailpolish and lipstick on. its too much, too soon. no idea how i’m going to tackle it with my kids- probably what y’all are doing with the communication and setting limits, but what about when they’re in high school and peer pressure is stronger?
part of the appeal of becoming a teenager for me, was being able to wear nail polish and makeup, and high heels, and follow fashion trends. if i’d done it all when i was 9, where’s the fun??
