I usually like soft colors when it comes to lipsticks. I haven’t found a perfect red lipstick either. :frowning: I used to wear brown lipsticks in high school(weird I know) but I don’t wear them anymore.

Adra, do you have Boots cosmetics available in Aus? They have some nice flesh/nude colored lipsticks. Check this page, Boots - Britain’s health and beauty expert, now available in the US.
I have used ‘Bare’ and really like it, other shades seem nice too but bare shade will definitely look nice on you IMO!

Adra- Revlon has a great nude... its called Super Lustrous lipstick and the color is Nude. It doesnt make you look washed out as its not a matte color.. its pretty soft and shiny. You can top that with a nice clear gloss or even a glittery clear gloss to add that touch of glam.

hey girls cud some1 help me, whenever i wear lipstick/gloss the pinkyness of my lips still shows up, i read somewhere to put concealer on my lips before applying the lipstick but it didnt look right. :)

Citrine, I have over 860 lipsticks don't remember them all but yes I do remember most of the names ;)

A perfect lipstick application:

Apply a dot of lip balm and massage u're lips and blot-off the excess
Apply a tiny bit of liquid foundation and blend well
Line u're lips with a (one-shade darker) or exact color lip-liner and fill-in u're lips

Apply u're lipstick using a brush for the perfect finish!

U can blot it with tissue/powder and re-apply for the extra staying power.. and add just a dot of clear lip-gloss if u like the gloss.

I usually wear transparent lip gloss :blush: no tension of giving shape

I love nude colors...browns as well..and i have a lipstick which is kind of plum color..(touch of pink with purplish) and it looks good when i don't put on anything just the lipstick..
i also love gloss which are beige, bronzish...and even pinks which have gold touch to them.

I was in luck today, saw the December issue of Marie Claire with a free L'oreal lustrous or Celebrity endorsed lipstick.

They had Aish, already got it so I got the Lustrous in Amber, you can almost not see it its so nude but sparkly

Saved $24 on spending on a lipstick :D

I got three ash rai lipstick shades and i use them so kajoosi say, this is the first time i like some shade so much on me self be it for parties or normal days...though i also like this other girl wala shade as well...

I prefer nudes and pinks mostly. I mostly wear lipglosses though ,my favourite is Lancome's juicy tubes collection .
