I use it. But I am a new user myself.
It is very helpful in keeping in touch with your colleagues and friends.
I did not have to use for job search, but I have tried helping a couple of people finding jobs, even though they did not take those jobs for various reasons. I hope that other people would help me if I ever am in that critical position.
I would recommend it to everyone.
