I think, Nadia, that the charge of “anti-American” comes because of the use of inflammatory language and huge leaps of logic wherein discussions begin with the most pejorative words being used to describe American conduct.

Why is it that the Anti American stamps are sold so cheap these days?
I would like to see the faults coming back(ed) not always forward.
Since they promised to help in establishing an independent Palestinian State (btw where is it now?), they should also confirm themselves as one sided.
Then how come people of the world (many indeed) have a reason to become or be "ANTI Amerian"? Do they?
I hope the 41st Pres gave his son some advice on proper use of English language as well, and not to use phrases like “we are still tight with Pakistan” in front of national media :hehe:
KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine – President Bush spent a good part of the weekend relaxing at his family’s ocean-side summer home, working on a speech about Iraq and—if history is any guide—discussing foreign policy with one of his most important but least visible advisors: his father.
**And this summer, the elder Bush played an important but unseen role in his son’s decision to seek the approval of the U.N. Security Council before taking any military action against Iraq, according to an associate of the former president.
Before the president’s stay with his parents in Kennebunkport in early August, he appeared headed toward a confrontation with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein without a serious attempt to send U.N. arms inspectors back to Baghdad.**
