So a guy who grew up poor but worked very hard to become successful doesn't remember or understand how he got there? If we are waiting for a street person to become the political voice for the little man, we'll be waiting a long time, won't we?
Who better to voice the concerns of the working poor than a guy who was there and overcame it?
Hypocrisy? That' the conservative guy who champions the American dream and then tells the guy who achieved it that he has no memory or rights to talk about his life experiences and is now the same as the born elitists who never saw a box of mac and cheese or a can of beenie weenies in their lives (and doesn't even know how/where to buy them).
