^ Well, actually the above statement is true for people who are hyper active in their lives. Like those people who are not happy with whatever they have, achieve and when they have what they wanted previously, they are still not happy.
But definitely for those lazy types who do not want to struggle and stay in one place and have no ambition, those low lives.... no. This view of life must be used to calm those hyper active types. Cz too much ambition is never good. One should learn to be happy with what God blesses one with (after the struggle ofcourse!)

working hard for what though?! Depends what you feel is important.....I wouldnt waste all my time working hard for money...I would rather work hard to become a better person, increase my knowledge, my faith and become more pious as that is what is going to help me in the after-life....and pass it on to my children to be...who will be the future of this ummah...
Life is a stage......best way to enjoy it is to appreciate the simpler things in life and take notice of the small things that make us smile and laugh.....

God has made everyone for a purpose. To fulfill a purpose. God has made everyone different which is for a reason and which none of us can understand as He is the creator and He knows the purpose of each of His creation. So every human in the world is to fulfill a purpose.
Agree with that. One must enjoy life along with fulfilling the purpose he/she has been sent to earth to fulfill. That's the point. The purpose could be anything which only God knows. This is why each human is different from another. Everyone cant be the same.
And we cant argue on why God sent you for your purpose and me for my purpose ('you' and 'me' should be read in general).
In the end, it's all the same... live a pious which would benefit the whole mankind. Not a selfish life. And this can be done in many ways. There is not a single definition of how this can be done.
