**Ok. so my friend wanted to see this painting (on page 1 of this thread). I just took it over to show it to him and he thinks that the 2 big Birch Trees in the front should not have been there. He thinks that the painting is good but would’ve looked excellent without the 2 Birch Trees. I however, think that the painting would’ve looked kinda empty(in the front) without the 2 Birch Trees. **

**Well…I say that because I stopped after the Evergreen trees and the painting did kinda look empty in the front. Then I added the 2 Birch trees in the front. What do you think? Would the painting look better without the 2 Birch Trees or does it look more “balanced” with the 2 Birch trees in the front. :clown: **

Everyone would give you his/her own opinion. And then you'll end up having 100 different options.
Whats there, look fine. Its a window view - Its very natural to see that many from a window. So don't listen to him.
I know, he is saying from artistic point of view - but landscape kinda stuff looks better the way, you've painted.

ok i looked at the painting again, and i still think the birch trees should be there. i rather like the asymmetricalness of it. the pine trees in the background are kinda dull (the green i mean) and the white in contrast really brightens up the pic. balances out the window frame :clown:
