Its not the High Court ruling, its the Pakistani Law that needs to be amended.
You cant blame the Judiciary, they are just implementing law of the land...
what is the law of the land? what's the next step - ban public libraries which carries text that is blasphemous to Muslims (only Pakistani) ?
why i say it is cos i knw what msn yahoo etc esp the messengers have an effect ..and things like youtube .. it has its pros but i see more cons ..
and pakistan ka nizaam pehley se itna kharaab hai ..aur these things esp this concept of social networking is corrupting alot of ppl .. and things like facebook is too personal which is dangerous .. i mean come on the other day i was reading somewhere that someone updated their status and said they are on holiday ..and when they got back .. either ppl who knew em or found out .. their house had been robbed lol .. just cos of a status update ..

Its the way people use it.So instead of banning it try to teach people how to take advantage of it.
They can simply filter the content why Ban it.

Actual problem is this that most of HC and SC judges are in age of sixty like me and they actually never used internet in their life so they are unable to understand and the other reason is coming in the news.

amazing decision to throw Pakistan back into stone age... if our elite and educated judges are banning information literacy tools then there's not much we expect from the uneducated politicians.
Pakistan is going China way.....China bans all blasphemy sites against their God i.e. "The Communist Party". If China can do it why not Pakistan.
Pakistan should realize that www can be used as a bathroom wall.

the main desire & objective of indian terrorists is to have a complete internet banned in pakistan. they have been actively trying to get that done. many large parts of pakistan in the main cities do not have internet services. the ISPs are forced to shut down their services providing reasons of 'internal faults' which i know is nothing but bribes from indian terrorists just like how they were bribing officials of power generating companies to not generate enough electricity for the people of pakistan.
so their main objective is to have a complete internet ban but they are trying to get that done through different tactics. this court decision is part of the same tactic. indian terrorists want to isolate the people of pakistan from the virutal world of the internet, technology & information too. and we can see they are quite successfully achieving that objective slowly just like their other objectives. and all of that using our own people's stupidity & inability to see the motives of indians terrorists controlling pakistan's internal affairs through them.

The government didn't act upon the orders of court however they blocked some 7 sites and check on 25 others is announced but google , yahoo are not included.

guys don't make it a fuss without knowing the real action, or even knowing it but being ignorant.
google/yahoo/msn are not banned entirely, only specific parts (contents) are banned just like many gcc countries (eg: UAE). the only banned sites are made for the sole purpose of spreading wrong information about islam, and there is no point of those sites being not banned in Pakistan or any other muslim country.
SC/HC judges are "non-technical" people, they issued a fairly "correct" decision based on whatever information was presented and whatever was right, other authorities who were supposed to take action on the decisions, they "did not" ban google/yahoo as a website, rather they mentioned that these are search engines, and they also help spread "good" information and help in education/ technology etc, so we should only ban the specific objectionable contents, and there is no harm in doing that.
