You can't.
All odd integers are of the form 2x + 1 for some integer x. The sum of five different odd numbers is therefore
2a + 1 + 2b + 1 + 2c + 1 + 2d + 1 + 2e + 1
= 2a + 2b + 2c + 2d + 2e + 5
= 2(a + b + c + d + e) + 5 for some [integers] <--- NB a, b, c, d, e
a, b, c, d and e must all be integers.
All the numbers you provided are odd. So the sum of any five of them is
2(a + b + c + d + e) + 5 where a, b, c, d, e are all elements of {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9}
=> We want 2(a + b + c + d + e) + 5 to = 50
=> 2(a + b + c + d + e) = 45
=> a + b + c + d + e = 22.5
But the sum of two integers is always an integer, yet for five of those odd numbers to add up to 50, a + b + c + d + e = 22.5 which is not an integer.
=> Either a, b, c, d or e or more than one of them must not be an integer.
=>The corresponding number (i.e. 2a + 1, 2b + 1, 2c + 1, 2d + 1 or 2e + 1) can not be odd.
All the numbers on your list are odd.
=> The corresponding number can not be on your list.
In fact, using a similar proof it is easy to show that the sum of x odd numbers can only be even if x is even and can only be odd if x is odd.

Your first "solution" uses 4 of the numbers and your second one uses 6

The proof can be made simpler
Once again it uses the fact that all odd numbers are of the form 2x + 1 for some integer x
The sum of two odd integers is always even.
2a +1 + 2b + 1 = 2(a + b) + 2 = 2(a + b + 1) whiche is even since it is always a mutliple of 2
The sum of an even integer and a odd integer is always odd since
2a (the even number) + 2b + 1 (the odd number) = 2(a + b) + 1
which is of the form 2x + 1 (x is a + b in this case)
If you take five of those odd numbers, the sum of the first two is even, the sum of the 3rd and the 4th is also even. The sum of two even integers is also even since 2a + 2b = 2(a + b).
=> The sum of the first four integers you choose is always even.
If you add the last odd number, the sum will be odd (an even number + and odd number is odd)
50 is an even number but the sum of five odd numbers is always odd and can therefore not be 50.

Lol Had Tried This Sometime Back !!!!!!!!!! I Rem The Simple Answer 50 is an even number but the sum of five odd numbers is always odd and can therefore not be 50........ But wanna Make More Brain Chewing So Came Out With This Intergation And Calcus **** Of College Days !!!
