I hope army and/or “khufiya iddaray” are surveilling this topic and i hope one of the mods gets a visit. I wouldn’t even shed a tear if the “mod” disappears without a trace. New-age Mir Jafir and Mir Sadik’s should be treated like that.

That mod should be taken into custody for the next 15 odd years… The funny thing is, he opens a blog and then disables posting since he knows he will be roasted.

I have cast my vote after standing in line on a hot and humid day for two hours.

May the best iMr**AN **win :jhanda:

Its easy to be a keyboard warrior then to actually go into battlefield. People cant even wipe their asses properly but think they have the right to criticize the brave people defending our country.

So IK got the chance he was looking for . Lets hope he perform atleast 50 % of what he promised. Else the last hope of PK ppl will be gone…

Lol shame on Lahoris, the whole country voting for the long awaited change in their droves, but the Lahoris (again) still voting for the same old ghissi pati karobari khilao pilao mafia.

Lahore is PMLn’ s headquarter… not easy to wipe them out completely from their own den… So far PMLn has bagged 8 seats out of 14… Rest belongs to PTI.

PMLN will take 10 out of 14. Even Imran beat Railway chor Saad Rafiique with a margin of less than 1k votes. This headquarter argument is just absurd. Look at Karachi, it used to be the den of MQM and no other party in the recent past even dared to dream about trying there, now see how Karachiites have thrown out bhatta mafia.

The Lahoris did this blunder in 2013 and repeated it again in 2018. There is no excuse for this type of sheep mentality. There is no denial at least in Central Punjab people still vote on ethnic grounds, dangerously obsessed with Punjabi card, and this is not Pakstaniyat my friend. At least in Interior Sind voters are not human beings but just cattle who will vote for PPP even if they are near-dead with starvation. Citizens of the second largest city of Pakistan should have done better than this.

My firm belief that people of KPK are politically most aware, astute and mature, and Lahories are way waaay backwards and immature, they need to learn from others.

A lot if not the majority of Punjab’s budget which also includes CPEC money like on the Orange Line is spent in Lahore.

I’ll give them a little benefit of the doubt as imran khan is a “punjabi” as well or a punjabinized pathan from his background.

I accept election result. I am looking for resolution of water problem, load shedding problems, roads and infrastructure, mass transit system in Karachi including trains ans metro, no more quota system , government employment without discrimination, middle class Karachittes (including Urban Sind) should have same rights and no wadeera or jageerdar above the law.

Quota System will remain as it benefits the rural and unskilled folks of Pakistan. Even MQM could not get rid of it.

Mate we have not given PMLN a “free walk” … they had to fight hard for each seat… It was a close fight in Lahore… For example PTI’s yaseem Rahman could not win her constituency but still she managed to get 1 lack 5 thousand votes… while PMLn’s winning candidate bagged 1 lack 14 or 15 thousand votes… That shows PTI was not far behind in all those constituencies that they lost to PMLN.

PMLN is a party of punjab, more specifically Lahore. Obviously, they have spent most of the development funds in Lahore where the mafia family lives. From this election, it is evident that PML(N) performed well in central punjab region only. On the other hand PTI, has bagged National Assembly and Provincial Assembly seats not only in KPK but in Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh. PTI has truly emerged a national party not restricted to any one province like PMLN, PPP or MQM. Look what they did to Muthaidda Thappa Movement in Karachi. 12 seats out of 21. The non-punjabis and non-pathans voted for PTI in Karachi.

I think it?s worth giving IK a chance. He may not have made KPK into a NYC, but he has definitely improved things for the locals just by improving on some of the corruption. Locals in KPK in many districts say things have improved.

Having said that he won?t be able to accomplish his ideal Pakistan because there are just some issues too hard to fix like Kashmir, global warming and the dwindling water supply in Pakistan, etc.

there is so so much wrong that he can simply improve a few things, the effect will be felt. Like getting rid of some corrupt officers, and cleaning up the drinking water to some degree, and making medical doctors stay in the country and work, and
opening more affordable accesible clinics and negotiating with waderas and feudals on better treatment of farmers, etc.

Don’t worry, Dr Rashid will eventually become MNA, she probably worked the hardest. Imran will vacate 4 and Ghulam Sarwar will vacate one NA seat, and Pervez Khatak might vacate his NA seat and keep KP seat (if he wants to become CM for second time), Dr Rashid’s name is already on reserve list.

If it’s bad, it shall also pass. If it’s good, it’s been a long time coming. It’s about time people in Pakistan and outside Pakistan learned to accept the vote and had faith in institutions. The slogans of “respect the mandate” should still resonate with everyone just like it did previously.

Congrats Pakistan! Prosper and become self-reliant. Resilient people will always survive and thrive.
