Extremism should be dealt in extreme measures. You can’t convince these ppl.

If someone praises a muslim ruler who invade other countries to convert the populace, then u should invade his country to convert the whole pouplation.

It is my belief that Pak army’s “enlighetned moderation” is the direct result of BJP and Bush regime butt-slapping them since 9/11. You can’t beat intolerant ppl with tolerance.

You are refering to the Shia Guy like he was a peice of C**p, looks like you already have a reserved Idea about Shias, just so you know I am Shia too, I am not a Practising Shia thats a whole different issue.

I have debated with lots of people on the religion forum, and my conclusion is that only Shias have a thing against Khalifas and they spent enormous amount of time and energy trying to get Sunnis condemn (Sunni) Khulafa’e’Rashideen, thats why I thought of lostsoul as “shia”. I hope its clear, no I do not have any thing against Shias.

I did not in any way mean to offend you, or put you on the defensive, all I am trying to say is that just as there are Bad Hindus/Christians/Jews/Muslims, there are bad Sunnis and bad Shias, now for the few bad people you cannot condem the whole Religion/Sect.

I for one definitely believe in the concept of Imam Hussains Martyrdom, but at the same time I do not believe in beating my chest and crying for something that happened over 1400 years ago.

I hope I have not offended any of my Shia Brethren, but I do sincerely believe (Even though I am a Munafik American) Islam should come first, we are at the recieving end of the stick because we still dont realise that fact.

^ May be I should've said it in an elaborate way that only Shia guppies had done that, though I have seen some Shia literature regarding those matters but I still believe that just like there are all kinds of Sunnis there are all kinds of Shias, Christians, Jews etc. I do not hold a grudge against anyone just because of "religion" or any particular sect of religion.

As for you not beating your chest, I have met many other Shias who are like you, but I don't know why would that make you munafiq. Anywa, the discussion might go towards "religion" discussion so I'll stop here with hopes that all is clear.

This sad incident is an example of ‘mob rule’ that happens everywhereRiots with burning,looting happen all over the world,including US.

In US , among other things, for some reason,celebrating a sports team success is often a reason fro idiots to trash buildings,cars and general rioting.

Have to ignore the mob dude…
