True. In all honesty though, what else was she to do? She cannot stay and risk her and her family’s life can she? Vo apni jaan bachake bhagi…koi bhi bhagta. Who would stick around knowing they and their family were sitting ducks? This is human instinct.
If they hate her, its unfortunate for them but not her. She gets a chance at a life and a well deserved chance at that.
If she is lashing out, its also her right.
As for her sitting with Salman Rushdi and all that hoopla. I find it strange that Salman Rushdi is taken so seriously. That man was made into a celebrity by the Muslims themselves because of their hate for him.
Islam has been around for hundreds of years…did it need our protection then? No. Does it need our protection now? No. The real torch bearers of Islam are long gone and their examples were never of violence, anger or hatred. They were of love. I don’t think “Muslims” these days know how to love.
Even a saint like Edhi wasn’t spared…so what is Malala?
