lesser evil?

Are you proud of Rehman Malik or ashamed of him?

Pasha Bhai,

Zulfi off course was very very popular from 1967-1972.

However thanks to his Islamo-Show-Shaw-list policies, our industry, banks, educational institutes, everything went to dogs (oops Jiyalas), and come 1974-75 he was no longer "Quaid-e-Awam".

People hated him,

But he was so far up his socialist communist antics, that delusions of grander simply destroyed his mind.

After doing haira-Pheri in the elections, he couldn't face up to the wrath of people (and off course 9-$hitey-Black-stars took advantage of it).

Then Bhutto deployed army,

But the Pak people took their anger out on army troops. there were reports that army soldiers were stoned, fired upon, and people threw garbage on them.

People who know the history, tell that it was pretty bad time for both army and Zulfi.

Zia was Zulfi's hand picked man, and Zia tried very hard to put some sense in Zulfi's drunkard state of mind.

Zia is on record saying to Zulfi "Sir aap kuch hosh kerain", army cannot control the mad crowds. My jawans and officers are becoming hated by every day.

Nothing worked with Zulfi.

Too bad, that Zulfi was stuck in "Himalya rota hai" cr@p.

So anyone who says Amreeka or Zia was responsible for Zulfi's political demise, needs to go and read some unbiased history.

Thank you.

Nothing to be proud. I am ashamed

I have seen by my eyes role of Zia men. It was Karachi their main target. I saw them firing on one in Mosque, Un necessary. Planned to spread some hate against Bhutto. A well planned game. Can not say more but these killers are playing since long their dirty play. What they did in East and what they are doing in rest. I am sure Zia is burning in hell.** Astaghfar**

Whaaat!

So the army was deployed without Zulfi's orders?

You mean to say Mullah fasadis were not out in force?

You mean to say that Army didn't try to control the fasadis until their very last moment?

You do know that army was loyal to Bhutto until Zulfi totally refused to accept the fact that in elections, Peeple piss party jiyalas committed horrible acts of vote fraud?

What hath you smokin?

Bhai meray!

Love Zulfi as much as you want. But do not try to reinvent history. That will hurt your party in the long run.

The best thing for Zulfi's admirers is that they should accept the HUGE blunders committed by this Qauid-awam who had an ego bigger than K-2.

Zulfi should have accepted the vote fraud and asked for re-elections. This would have taken the zing out of 9-black-star Maulanas.

But he didn't. He refused to see the light.

Please be truthful to the history, and you will have success, otherwise your party will go the same way that is future of Islamists.

Why can't jiyalas throw him out considering he is not even an elected official? This weakness of yours will sink your ship!

As long as pippal palty in pawer.....all ij well.

That's exactly the problem, it's still ZAB's party no matter who is going be his successor.

As for comparison between Zardari and Musharaff, i don't know how you can call Musharaff worst of the worst???? Musharraff undoubtedly made mistakes but he probably wanted to make sure that crooks like Zardari or $harif won't enjoy "licence to loot". He WRONGLY tried to hung on to the power but atleast there was a reason behind it.
Musharaff was DEFINITELY much better than any option we have today (other than Imran Khan who is unlikely to get a chance atleast for another 10-15 years).

Re: lesser evil?

I have to share this news and I found no thread so we are better to see lesser here.

SC summons Bari on next hearing

By: Azam Khan | Published: March 27, 2010

ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court on Friday observed that the agreement between two property tycoons of the Capital city, Malik Riaz and Malik Tabaruk alias Malik Bari, was against the spirit of SC decision and directed Malik Bari to appear before the court on next hearing to be held on 20th April.

The bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and comprising of Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry while hearing a suo-moto case taken on arrest of Malik Bari by Sindh police from his residence in Islamabad, sought records of all the cases registered against Malik Bari in Karachi after observing that he had used the court for reaching an agreement with his rival.
Deputy Attorney General Agha Tariq apprised the bench that both the parties had reached an agreement and all cases in that respect were revoked. SSP Tahir Alam informed the court that the deal involved billions of rupees and Malik Bari had got Rs 1 billion. The SSP Islamabad informed the apex court that two parties are connived, as Malik Riaz gave more than one billion rupees to Malik Bari to end mutual differences. On this, in his tinny remarks, Justice Ramday said that why did not they gave us our share? The SSP further informed that they only wanted to undermine the police department and kept courts busy.
The CJ said that Malik Bari misused the apex court for his vested interests and he must be put behind the bars. The court observed that Malik Tabaruk was released on the bail, which was issued by the SC, from the custody of Karachi police but he left the country without informing the court.
