I sure am beginning to miss the good old days when dictatorial tyrants would ruthlessly slaughter their citizenry on those few occasions when the people took to the streets to assert a right to freedom. First the Ukranian strongmen wilt under the people power street protests and now the Lebanese follow suit. Where does it end??? A couple more success stories and oppressed people everywhere will begin to think they really can make a difference and change things. At least we can count on the Chinese to leave a few hundred corpses in the middle of Tianemen Square if need be.
Props to the Lebanese people. Goodbye Syrian occupiers. And the world is a little better place today than it was yesterday. Freedom is on the march...one day at a time.
