The worst experience I had was road travel in saudi arabia during Haj season. Restrooms on highways are the biggest test in the whole Haj process, however ones in madina and makkah were very well mantained.
aah... memories... horrible, awful, scarring, soul destroying memories...
yeah, the whole setup at the service stations along the highways was generally disgusting. not just during Hajj season. it was disgusting no matter what time of year you went... or if you went for Hajj or Umra.
and I remember the old setup at the masjid in Makkah. that was one disgusting, scary setup. but that is when I was very young. and they improved it a lot over the next few years. but back in the day, it was scary man... scary and disgusting...
